Live Bookmarks and Del.icio.us

Posted in Firefox, General, Web at 10:17 pm by matt

Here’s a cool trick I realized the other day.

  1. Use del.icio.us
  2. Find your del.icio.us RSS feed
  3. Make the feed into a Firefox Live Bookmark
  4. Enjoy!

Yep and you can also have subcategories. For example, I have a folder on my button bar called del.icio.us. In there there are are a couple live bookmark feeds from my delicious account. One is the general feed as yo mention above and another is one that lists all my items tagged ‘Firefox’. Just go into one of your tags on del.icio.us and find the feed for that tag. Very Web 2.0.
